The Bowers Come to Town

We had a great visit today from the Bowers clan: my parents, Jennifer, Will and David. They are about to head out west to Spokane, so they fit one last visit in so Ashlyn and Hannah could play with their cousins. The plan from the start was to take everyone to the neighborhood pool. We ended up getting two inches of rain the night before and into the morning, so I was a little nervous that we would have to go to Plan B. It was pretty overcast outside, but we decided to try the pool anyway since it was still hot and humid even without the sun! Lucky for us, no one else thought it was a good day for the pool! We had it all to ourselves and had a great time! We spent nearly 4 hours there, so you can imagine we were all worn out! Here are some pictures from our day:

Our Little Sparklers

4th of July

We went to Kentucky over the 4th of July and I am finally getting around to adding a couple of pictures from our trip. We celebrated Boompa's (Stephen's grandfather) 90th birthday! Ashlyn also had some "slip and slide" fun with her cousins Emma and Rachel. Here are a few pictures from the weekend!

Hannah didn't want to have anything to do with the Slip and Slide, but she finally got the courage up to let her Uncle Ronald spray her with the hose. :)
