Ashlyn has been taking swim lessons for the past week and a half and LOVES it!
Welcome to South Carolina and the blog of Laura, Stephen, Ashlyn and Hannah! We hope you enjoy following us on our adventure of raising our two little girls! Ashlyn is 5 and is getting to be so grown up...she loves to dance, sing and cuddle! She is also very excited to be starting Kindergarten next year! Hannah is a big 3 year old and has a will of her own and a smile that will melt anyone's heart! She keeps us laughing all the time. :)

Family Reunion :)
Well, it has been three years since I have seen Jen (my sister-in-law) and my nephews....and I think six years (at my wedding!) since we have had the whole family together. David, Ashlyn, and Hannah weren't even alive then, so it was an amazing experience to have everyone meet up in Virginia this weekend for a huge family reunion! We stayed at the Lowe's house and then took a day trip to Stephen's City to see all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandmother. Here are just a few pictures of everyone. Tim is still recovering from his chemo and radiation treatments, but he is getting stronger everyday and I am so glad that he and Nancy were able to make the trip. God is good! :)

Summer Thunderstorm
We had a really big thunderstorm come through Anderson this evening and Stephen thought it was a smart idea to stand outside and watch the lightening before the heavy rain set in. Hannah didn't want to be left out, so she made me let her go outside with her Daddy (Ashlyn stayed inside and colored....thunderstorms are NOT her thing). We lost a branch on our tree in the front yard and Stephen's other babies (the tomato plants) had a few casualties, but other than that we faired pretty well. The pictures don't do the storm justice...

All Dolled Up
Last Sunday we were getting ready for church and I told Hannah to get her shoes on. I ran downstairs for a minute, and when I came back up she had taken Ashlyn's dress up shoes and was putting them on. She even got the Sleeping Beauty pink ones that matched her dress! We used to think that she would be our little athlete, but all of a sudden she is starting to show her girly side :)
